Wattai is located at 4 Palm Valley Drive in Byron Bay at Wategos Beach just past the fork in Lighthouse Road where you are directed to either the lighthouse or Wategos Beach. Full directions will be provided when your booking has been made.

How many people can stay here?

The Wattai main house (top 2 levels) has 3 very large king sized bedrooms. The separate, generously sized, ground level one bedroom apartment will sleep up to 4 people. No additional accommodation needs above this will be accommodated. Therefore the maximum capacity permitted for guest accommodation is 10 and this is strictly enforced for comfort, safety and the amenity of neighbours and in line with broader voluntary standards in Byron Bay.

Is the house safe for children and elderly?

All Wategos beach properties are generally elevated and this property is tri-level. Consequently there are stairs across the property and due care is obligatory for those with children or elderly family members.

The pool is fenced however it is deep in parts and children would need supervision whilst swimming.

The roof top deck spa is protected with lock down covers and again supervision of children is recommended. Once use is concluded, the spa must be recovered and locked down to prevent mishaps and bad weather despatching the covers and other furnishings/equipment into neighbouring properties.
